The Louth Peace Partnership is seeking to develop a greater understanding of the unique heritage and myths of Louth and its hinterlands, under the European Union's PEACE III Programme, to develop a sense of shared heritage, despite recent historical divisions, through a range of actions, including:

• Using local heritage and myths for greater understanding of our shared ancestries;
• Development of a community-based learning programme;
• Provision of accessible resources including a website to promote access;
• Development of ongoing and annual events on shared heritage and myths.

The ‘Shared Heritage & Myths’ project, will be delivered through 2009 and 2010 by SLR Consulting with our community partners, the Foy Centre in Carlingford and the Kilbroney Centre in Rostrevor.
